We now have an RSS feed for our announcements!

Syndication is a new way to grab content from blogs and online news feeds. Perhaps you already have a blog or Live Journal? When you syndicate a blog, you are taking the blog entries and delivering them to your own blog reader (also called a news reader or aggregator), or displaying them on your own site.

Sites with blogs, such as KidzMagazine.com, often provide a special address for syndicating their content. This is commonly known as an RSS feed, although different formats exist (such as Atom). Such feeds are based on XML technologies, which allows you to create dynamic content. This is slightly different from HTML, which is used for creating static content, such as simple web pages.

Depending on which new reader program you use, you might be able to drag and drop the RSS button (above) into your news reader. Or you might have to manually enter the feed address: http://kidzmagazine.com/xml-rss2.php
